SAVE THE DATE - Join us as the FESTIVAL OF DARKNESS returns on Saturday, September 27th, 2025.  Immerse yourself within a meticulous selection of short films, a spectacle of darkness and horror crafted by local and distant filmmakers, for approximately 90 haunting minutes.

NEW VENUE - The Festival of Darkness is now hosted at Detroit’s iconic Redford Theatre, a revitalized historic 1920s theater once christened “Detroit’s most unique suburban theatre” for its grand design adorned with Japanese and Chinese motifs. With 1,610 seats, a classic concession stand, and secure parking, immerse yourself fully in the magic of cinema amidst the shadows.

Admission is $10 and advance tickets are now available. Half of all ticket sales go to support the continued preservation and operations of the Redford Theater.
